Commemorative jubilee tins
Three shortbread tins designed to celebrate the queen’s diamond jubilee. The tins depict the queen’s crown decorated with British icons, a Union Jack as a street map showing London and British landmarks, and a silhouette of the queen at the time of her coronation. I worked with different illustrators to create three beautiful tins that are different but, through colour, hold together well as a set.

M&S Hospital Porter and Southwold IPA
Two beer labels from a range of Marks & Spencer beers and ales, each of which has a hidden image of something relevant to the beer on the label. The Hospital Porter was brewed on the site of the old Greenwich Naval Hospital brewery, symbolised by the logo which incorporates a red cross into an anchor.
The Southwold IPA has a beer glass in the stern of the ship, which references the historical naval battles near Southwold, a town on the south coast of England, where the beer is brewed.

Canned fish
A range of canned fish and seafood products with bold colours and woodcuts by John Spencer. The range was extensive with many products of the same fish type, requiring tiering and robust colour differentiation.

Handcooked crisps
A range of crisps which uses bold contrasting colours, distressed type and block-printed illustrations to convey the handmade, crunchy quality of the product, creating great impact at shelf. The range subsequently extended to a more elevated tier, with fancier flavours.

A nostalgic embossed tin for a Christmas range in the shape of a stack of books for tea time reading.
